About Me
In addition to co-hosting "Morning Joe" with Joe Scarborough, I also appear on Nightly News and the Today Show.
Although I did work at MSNBC back in 2000, I spent a large part of my career at CBS, where I anchored "CBS Evening News Weekend Edition," and served as a correspondent for "CBS Sunday Morning and "60 Minutes."
When I left CBS I dove into being a full time wife and mom, and while I cherished the ample time with my children, I found myself failing miserably! After 20 years of working up to and becoming a roving reporter, correspondent and anchor, the adjustment was, let's say, a challenge. After suffering through my horrible, and I mean absolutely terrible home cooking for a few months, my husband said, "boy you better hurry up an get a job before we all get sick!"
I ended up taking a job that thought would provide "balance" for the family - a little fill-in work back at MSNBC. That is, until the network pulled the plug on Imus, and suddenly MSNBC had three hours to fill. Joe went for the job, and recruited me as sidekick. Now my children and husband don't have to be afraid of my home cooking anymore...

We hope the U.K. government can soon and voluntarily endorse our appeal for a United Nations hearing of our charges that Angola is guilty of murder and aggression in Cabinda, and hope that the U.K. delegation at the U.N. can ultimately take the initiative in getting the Cabinda appeal on the agenda! Hey, Mika! Thank you for adding me. This morning, while watching Morning Joe, I realized I was friends with everyone from MSNBC who have an account here, but you all! After pulling an all-nighter, I finally got the chance to watch Way Too Early, along with Morning Joe. I love the show, and especially the brilliant music choices you always wake us up with. I don't like correcting people, but under your "music" section you've spelt Springsteen as "Springstien". I'm a huge fan, too! And I'm sure you'd want to clarify that. :)
I hope to watch Morning Joe, and the Today Show, every morning before heading off to college this Fall.
