ArtWorks! is hosting a workshop with textile artist, Rachel Hunt on January 19th and 20th, 2008 from 12-5pm. This two-day intensive workshop is for local teens ages 13-18 interested in the visual arts.
Using the processes of looping, through variations of knit and crochet by combining yarn, twisted paper, and wire, participants will assemble their own looped creation and then connect the pieces together to form a large scale installation sculpture. The installation will be on exhibit in the Sarah Louise Cousins Gallery January 25 -- March 22, 2008.
