7 Stitches is a musical project born in Hickory, North Carolina, in early 2005. The band’s main purpose was a seamless blending from aggressive metal based styles to a whole melodic and melancholic universe, without falling into easy formulas, clichés, or the lack of life that is known to a great part of the bands within the Metal scene.
In the summer of 2006, the band was invited to participate in the N Sane Mixes Music Festival in Concord, NC. The band was welcomed with open arms and rocked the stage to a massively responsive crowd. The fall of 2006, brought about the Zippo Hot Tour. 7 Stitches was chosen as a semi-finalist in the North Carolina division and competed against 8 of the best bands in the state. The exposure from both of these events opened the floodgates to many opportunities, and the band did not miss a beat. The Zippo Hot Tour gave the band airplay on 106.5 The End based out of Charlotte, NC and the power of 7 Stitches began to spread. A music label out of Atlanta Georgia caught wind of the band and jumped on board. The band signed with Super Rock Records in late December 2006 and will be hitting the studio very soon!
What will 2008 bring for 7 Stitches? Only time can tell, but with many big shows already in the lineup, you can bet that these guys will be around “Until the End”

Sonic Records Showcase presents our new National Band Talent Search TV Show that will be airing right here in NC on WCWG-20 starting in October. We plan to keep this show right here in our home state and focus on all the good bands like 7 STICHES and others that can be found right here in the Carolinas. We need support for the show so we can solidify this venue and others and we can keep running this show for years to come.
