The National Campus Band Comp (NCBC) is the largest live band competition in the southern hemisphere. NCBC has been running on Australian University and TAFE campuses across the country for over 19 years providing audiences with some truly memorable moments and memorable bands. Each year over 1000 bands from over 80 institutions compete live, looking to be crowned national winners of this prestigious competition.
NCBC is a great way to get live music experience under your band's belt, not to mention some great prizes and media and record company attention. Previous winners and entrants have included: Eskimo Joe, The Vines, Jebediah, George, 78 Saab, Augie March and Vasco Era, to name but a few…
The competition hosts local campus heats run from June-August, with WA Finals in September. The National Final is held in late September at the Australian University Games Opening Ceremony.

Hey NCBC West. Thanks for the friendship and welcome to Bands@Manjimup. Our next gig will be in October and we’re busy working out who will play. Local heroes Ashoka will certainly be on the bill, as well as our Friends band #1000, who should be joining very soon.
Other parts of B@M are in hyperdrive to organise the $63,484 upgrade to our Boiler Room band rehearsal facility and applying for further grants to expand it into a recording studio.
For those of you who couldn’t make the fantastic farewell gig for Elora Danan, with Minute 36, Ashoka and Electrostatik – it will be broadcast on Anarchy on Air and 87.9FM in September. Peace - The Terminator
