An original rock band from NYC, NCD pumps out pure-bred, no bullshit rock
and roll. Their unique sound has been captivating the NYC music circuit for
years, landing them a 2004 residency at CBGB and flock of dedicated
followers who have been known to wreak havoc on unsuspecting venues
and innocent bystanders. Following their EP, ‘THEEP!’ and LP, ‘Friendship,’ NCD
has shown no signs of fatigue and their single, “Anarchy,” off the upcoming
album may just revolutionize the way we think about…furniture?

Nick Sansano (Producer/Engineer: Sonic Youth, Public Enemy): “The record rocks through and through…it has a special blend of rolling stones (before they were collecting social security), the Allman Brothers, the Black Crowes and at times the Replacements—all with a more indy, fuck it, and younger edge to it.”
Alex Wagner, Fader Magazine: “They have all the plaintive indie sarcasm of a baby Stephen Malkmus…NCD may escape the jungle where latex animals rule the roost.”
Time Out NY: “Nobody Can Dance rises above the poor production on Friendship to prove that everybody can dance to these fun, funky tunes.”
Robert Christgau: “Just say I value friendship too much and leave it at that.”
Oprah Winfrey: “Lots of people want to ride with you in the limo, but what you want is someone who will take the bus with you when the limo breaks down.”
