Founded in 1970, North Carolina Dance Theatre is the oldest professional ballet company in North Carolina. Under the artistic direction of Jean-Pierre Bonnefoux and Patricia McBride, the company has attracted superb dancers and built a versatile and diverse repertoire ranging from full-length classical ballets to innovative contemporary works.
Touring: NC Dance Theatre has toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe. The Company has also performed at major dance festivals including the Spoleto Festival, the American Dance Festival and DanceAspen.
School: North Carolina Dance Theatre School of Dance offers professional instruction for students ages 3 through adult. The School of Dance is the only North Carolina dance school affiliated with a nationally recognized professional dance company.

A Night At The Movies March 5-7 & March 12-14, 2009

Othello May 14-16, 2009 Othello, choreographed by Dwight Rhoden, takes a modern day look at the Shakespearian classic.
This world premiere is filled with drama, deception and tragedy.
