| | Movies | I love epics like Gladiator, but I also like a good comedy, and I'm a sucker for dumb comedies like Anchorman, Dumb and Dumber. | | Television | I'm a HUGE 24 fan. Jack Bauer is the MAN!!! I'm a recent convert though, and I didn't start watching until about 6 months ago. I started with season 1 and am now all the way up to the end of season 5. I can't wait til January when season 6 debuts. I also own the dvs for Ally McBeal, as strange as that may sound. I find that show extremely enjoyable to watch. I like the CSI shows, but my favorite currently running show (not counting 24) is Numb3rs. I absolutely LOVE that show!!! | | Books | I don't really read for entertainment, so this may sound boring. I'm currently reading Darwin's Black Box, The Selfish Gene, and am in the Book of Matthew in the Bible. I find that studying the Life of Christ gives me a good idea about how God really is. | | Heroes | Definitely Steve Irwin!!! I loved him so much, and I'm not talking about bandwagon love postmortem, I'm talking I paid for a cable upgrade just to get Animal Planet! I really loved that guy. I honestly cried throughout the entire memorial service. |

About me:
My name is Nathan, and I'm in my early twenties. I'm a pretty normal guy, I like to go out with friends, spend time with my girlfriend. I'm a techno geek and love to play around on the computer. I'm also a science geek and am interested in natural history, and specifically genetic, cellular, and evolutionary biology. I also write over at my blog, nathanrice.org on a variety of topics, and I encourage everyone to go check that out. I doubt I'll spend a whole lot of time on myspace. I really just signed up to experience the social network concept for myself, and to point people over to my blog where you can catch up on what I've been up to.
