Born in Fort Wayne, IN, Bryan Osborne began playing trumpet when he was 12 years old. At the age of 15, he began private studies with Distinguished Professor Alan Severs, the Principal trumpet chair for the Fort Wayne Philharmonic.
Bryan studied performance, composition, and jazz studies at Indiana University. He participated in concert bands, brass quintets, big bands, and jazz combos. Winning awards all over the country for his lyrical style and majestic tone, he brings years of education and experience to the table.
Bryan has performed professionally with the Fort Wayne Philharmonic, Fort Wayne Civic Theatre, Three Rivers Wind Ensemble, Starlight Brass Quintet, IPFW Theatre, and the Wagon Wheel Theatre. During his four years at the Wagon Wheel, Bryan's playing could be heard while award-winning actors from New York & Chicago graced the stage.
While in Indiana, Bryan Osborne performed and recorded with bands that include Strut Train, Klubber Lang, The Wailhounds, The Freak Brothers, Mojai, Jabberwocky, and more. You're listening to the sounds of Mojai in Blue Erudition and Alienades. For a blast from the past, Strut Train can be heard on tracks Rise Up, Tell Me, and ST Parade.
