Ndiaga Diop Be One Africa
The precursor of Yungou Reggae in Senegal
• The adventure started in 1985, when Ndiaga Diop win the Reggae Talent Award in Philadelphia.
• 1990, he returned to his homeland in Senegal and there Be One Africa made an excellent reputation and gain a lot of respect as a singer, his stage presence and his charisma captivate the public.
• Ndiaga Diop sings in Wolof, French, English and other African languages with a real symbioses between the lyrics and the music.
• Reggae Yungou: is a form of Reggae using some traditional instruments such as the Talking Drum, Djembe and Xeen. The musical composition is mixture of Afro rhythm, traditional and urban.
• Senegal Reggae: Ndiaga Diop is the top Reggae Star in Senegal, even though there are many other groups playing Reggae in Senegal.
