Wow, you were an incredible monster behind the drum kit at CalProg!!!  It was a pleasure finally seeing you in action for the first time, and hope to do so again in the future. Meanwhile, I anxiously await the Rewiring Genesis DVD and the new Kevin Gilbert discs.

Good luck with the Grammy nod. You deserve it!!!

I have you in my top 40, Nick. I would have Spock's Beard there too, but I am supposedly a "band" and Spock's Beard has its friends setting to not accept bands. I'm a kid who makes music, a composer learning to play. So, if you could persuade the band to include me as a friend, I sure would be honored.

Our new CD  The Underfall Yard is released in December 2009 (we're very proud of it). You
can download the title track, a 23 minute prog epic FREE at
www.bigbigtrain.com

Once again the band are joined on drums by
Nick D'Virgilio (Spock's Beard, Tears For Fears, Genesis) and new
passengers on this particular journey include Dave Gregory (XTC, Peter
Gabriel), Francis Dunnery (It Bites) and Jem Godfrey (Frost*). The
album was mixed by Rob Aubrey (IQ, Transatlantic, Asia).

The album features our new vocalist David Longdon and we feel he has made and outstanding contribution.

Please check it out and let us know what you think.

Wow. Nick! Really admire your work in both Spock's Beard and on Kevin Gilbert's "The Shaming Of The True"; and, at age 12, I look forward to acquiring drum chops like yours. Oh, yeah. If I had a set of traps and a space where I could practice without the neighbors calling the cops, I would not have to haunt various music stores' drum sections and continually getting kicked out of the store drum booths. Sigh. Can't afford lessons. I can dream though. Anyway, if you have time, maybe you could drop by my MS profile and listen to some old compositions of mine - made between ages 6 and 10. I am not sure MS is ready for my new stuff. Would be nice though.  At least I can compose and create songs/pieces at my computer with headphones stuck on my head, so the neighbors won't complain. My dad LOVES my stuff; and he knows words and music, so... You know, I almost never visit my profile and almost never write to anyone; but here I am babbling on and on to you. Bye. Keep making that music and banging those drum skins. I envy you that.
