Thanks for the add Neal. DWD is awesome. Can't seem to put it down. We're a band based near Dawsonville. Check out our rough demo of Whiskey Trippin' Man. New cd is being finished soon, but enjoy this version for now and let us know what ya think.

Such a strange coincidence-- like John T. Curtis Sr., I, too, was a drinker and carouser until I found God and became a missionary preacher who resigned from a Baptist school because it proselytized too much.

(Just kidding. Good luck with your tour.

Neal, I finished "Hurricane Season" today. Excellent! As with "Driving With the Devil," you combined history, culture and the lives of people acting as individuals and as teams in a fascinating, moving and easy-to-read way.

Also: Got an e-mail today from a nascar.com writer who says he'll read "Driving.
    "
And: My copy of "Light This Candle" arrived today.

    Keep up the great work!

LOVE the book, Neal. We heard a lot of similar stories doing research for our film in Stokes County, NC.

We're at the Fine Art's Theatre in Asheville on the 29th, come out and we'll leave you a pair of tix.

I keep hearing people praising "Driving With the Devil." Yesterday the folks at the Martinsville Speedway said that they didn't know the details of Red Byron's win at Martinsville until they read your book.
    Well done!
