Television
If I'm watching TV, I mainly go for the laughs movie channels History and Discovery channels sometimes watch Style watch the British shows most music shows Austin City Limits Soundstage even Lawrence Welk MTV Vh1 but I think they've given up music for "Reality" although Pimp My Ride was good Kept was good Rock of Love was VERY interesting ; ) I laughed at the Osbournes I LOVED SUPERGROUP Tool, eh, got kinda caught up in it, and lookin' forward to Tough Love The Stallionaires, ahhh, couldn't get ENOUGH DREW PINSKY is THE MAN but I much preferred the old "show the music video" days. I discovered The Ghost Hunters and love it, and think Jonathan Edwards is cool. I promised a friend who died I'd talk to her someday if at all possible. I love That 70's Show, of course Scrubs is ok, but can be cruel Sex and the City is a nice dream, but gaaa, too MUCH sex in the city ; ) I was a fan of The Ozzie and Harriet Show The Donna Reed Show Gidget Father Knows Best The Lucy Show
Books
At one time, my name was on most of the books in the library. The most important one to me is the Holy Bible. I care for poetry bios do-it-yourself books books filled w/art particularly Norman Rockwell Grandma Moses Vermeer Escher Hank Boz most still lifes Currier and Ives. I really go for the books filled with mummies bog people all sorts of archaeological finds.
Heroes
People who tell me how they REALLY feel People who are willing to fight in Iraq People who put up w/major crap to stay true to their morals People who champion anyone who can't defend themselves, namely children animals People who sacrifice for what they love best (thinking of musicians, artists, scientists)
Single mom who has survived not getting the full story from her children HAD a job I could stand because of the rewards in small faces but the pay is shoestring, and I was not the favorite this year. I have found other work that I'm thankful for, but it pays less. I love music especially the guitarists but don't play can play by ear and could learn but I'd rather appreciate the driven. I love animals care for them as my money allows Cats are my favorite. I'm slow to warm up I'd rather drink people in than be a part of a conversation unless I hear something I'm passionate about. I love humor in most forms some is too sick. I can be loud I can be quiet I can be a friend.
I can also discard those who discard me.
