About me: Some Events mark us so deeply that they find more force of presence in their aftermath then in their occurrence. They are moments that rankle at becoming past, and so remain contemporaries of our beating hearts. Some events are not remembered~They are relived.
-R. Scott Bakker
So if your life trades its seventy years for seventy hours I have that value now and I am lucky enough to know it. And if there is not any such thing as a long time, nor the rest of your lives, nor from now on, but there is only now, why then now is the thing to praise and I am very happy with it.
-Ernest Hemingway
There is a time in every man's education when he arrives at the conviction that envy is ignorance; that imitation is suicide; that he must take himself for better, or worse, as his portion; that though the universe is full of good, no kernel of nourishing corn can come to him but through his toil bestowed on that plot of ground which is given to him to till.
-Ralph Waldo
I do not expect anyone to listen to any of this shit. I put it up as a backup since allot of the music I like slips through the cracks when an Mp3 player breaks. But If you find yourself on myspace at 3 am wanting to listen to a new group my songs are at your disposal.

Arcade Fire, The ~Neon Bible I have never been a huge fan of Arcade Fire but this album surprised me in a big way. The only tracks I'm not crazy about are 1,3, & 8.
Bastard Fairies, The ~Memento Mori I like this group because It is so different, Its kinda political-folk-whatever. They sing about O.C.D, Prostitution, and Childhood Illness....I find their songs make me think.
Hidden Cameras, The ~The Smell of Our Own ~Awoo This is the poster Indi-Folk group for gay men. They sing about nearly every issue in gay culture. The first album is rather dirty and forward, the second takes more interpretation (for example the song lollipop is about ecstasy). On the hole (pun intended) you are not gay if you can't relate to this group (I recommend reading the lyrics to the songs).
James Blunt ~Back to Bedlam Oh James, I have always loved this album! Everyone knows James from that "Your Beautiful" song and that is The song I listen to the least. I almost bought this album and that's saying allot (I know.....pirating is bad).
Peaches ~Impeach My Bush If you like dirty music full of innuendo these girls are for you......Fuckin hottt that's all there is to it.
Regina Spektor ~Begin To Hope Regina Spektor has so much vocal talent its crazy, She tends to write in metaphors which make me listen to her music over and over trying to figure out exactly what she is saying. Something about her reminds me of James Blunt for some reason, It would be hot if they did a single together.
Sounds, The ~Living In America ~Dying To Say This To You This is the group I am currently listening to most. At first I thought they would be a little to "chick rock" but now I cant find a single song I don't like on either album. They have this Pat Benatar-Jone Jet vibe, as well as something that makes them sound new.
