We use a Boss octave pedal sometimes for tone on certain songs, I've never messed around with any other octave pedal, will look into those. You're right though, they sound like shit unless its single notes.
I don't think loading in would be a problem because the venue will probably be Churchill's.
So you just split the signal and run it through an octave pedal?
I'm still trying to figure out how to make up for a lack of bass player for now. I used to (when you saw us) play through a Sunn bass cab for a while but it just sounded too muddy overall so I ditched it. I'm a lot happier now with my Marshall guitar sound although my cab is just some shitty cheap cab I got my hands on for now, I'm gonna build up a nicer cab come income tax time haha.
