Heroes
Joss and all his Big Damn Heroes for giving us a 'verse rich in detail, for helping shiny crews of people around the world to find each other and for bringing awareness to a wonderful cause such as EqualityNow.org
About me: We are the New England Browncoats. We can also be found at www.nebrowncoats.com for more information about us and our events. We also have a very active yahoo group at http://tv.groups.yahoo.com/group/NE_Browncoats/. We are over 400 Browncoats strong and are active not only in our fandom but in charity as well. We have hosted events to help raise money for The Red Cross, Hurricane Katrina victims and The New Hampshire Teen Institute and we continue yearly to host events to benefit the Greater Boston Area Food Bank and Equality Now. We also have a variety of events throughout the year including movie nights, dinners out, museum outings and Shindigs. We throw Shindigs once a month (usually the third Saturday) and it is a daylong affair with good friends and good times and usually about 25-35 NE Browncoats in attendance. Sign on and get to know us! We hope to see you in the World!

Quantum Mechanix (QMx) is sponsoring the “Name the Crappy Town Where You’re a Hero” charity auction. Starting April 26th, 50 town names will be auctioned via eBay with all proceeds going to Equality Now. If you win an auction, your name will be submitted, and pending studio approval, will be used in the upcoming official Atlas of the 'Verse, Volume One: The Trader's Guild Guide to the New Canaan Run made by our favorite mild-manner graphic designer, Ben Mund. The auctions are being hosted by Austin Browncoats. More information, including links to each eBay auction can be found here: http://www.austinbrowncoats.com/crappytown.php.
