The Bible is a good read, as is the Sandman series, everything by Neil Gaiman, the Diskworld series, and a select few that have had the honour of gracing my book shelves.
Heroes
Now that I think of it, I do have a hero. His name is Yoshitaka Amano. His art has inspired me ever since I was five, capturing me in the beauty of his simplistic style. Even now I'm moved to tears whenever I see a portrait of Tina, or whenever I gaze upon Hero. He himself enraptures me, and just when I think that all hope is lost, I remember that he was discovered at the age of 15, and I have reason to get up and move on once more... My hope is to one day meet him, and step above. For what honour is greater than being recognized by the man you admire?
