Sounds LikeWorldwide, Nechville Helimount Banjos are known by the finest musicians for unequalled richness of tone and the smoothest playability of all banjos. When you compare feature for feature there is simply no comparison between Nechville and all others. We bring comfort to your playing with a compound radiused fingerboard, precision compensated and weighed bridge, Comfort Bevel Armrest, action adjustable neck, 2 way stainless truss-rod and the magic of Helical stress- free head mounting. In short, we give you much more for your money than you can find elsewhere. When you add the features that you simply can’t get anywhere else to our superb personal service, Nechville spells value in any language.

The Nechville Vintage combines the classic styling from yesteryear with State-of the Art design.

The sweet sound of mahogany is empowered by Nechville’s ingenious Cyclotronic ball bearing system found within the 20 hole tone ring. World Class. Perhaps the only banjo worthy of the title.

DIXIE CHICKS: "greetings all, Keith Pilkington with Dixie Chicks here. how's everything? just to let you know, everyone (band/chicks and crew) is digging your product over the five Gibson's that we have out here. same electronics in all, and the Nechville is standing out big time. still need to take a look at the custom neck, but we are getting ready to take a break and as soon as we return we can set something up. if tom is still in Europe, please let him know that he's "cutting the mustard" so to speak. Thanks for everything and I'll be n touch soon...peace,"

Steve Douglas: "I just wanted to thank you for setting up and working on my banjo at Merlefest. I didn't really have a chance to play it again til I got home, and I have to say it sounds and feels just great - the improvement is marked. I really like the bridge a lot."

Sal Demaio: "Thanks again for setting up my arch top Mastertone at Banjo Camp North. It still sounds great. Even a friend with a new Huber commented on it. However, it doesn't sound as great as the Nechville Classic I just bought. It has a radiused fingerboard and the wide frets, just like the Meteor I played at your booth. It also has a pick-up. I am really thrilled. It is incredibly comfortable, like no other banjo I have played except that Meteor."

Tom Collins: "I must admit, I was a bit skeptical about the Heli-Mount system on an old-time banjo but it certainly gave a very nice even tension across the head. The instrument sounded and played wonderfully and the skin head was a nice touch. I wouldn't have guessed that the Heli-Mount would have worked with real skin. The Nechville had lots of sustain, warmth and clarity. I think it's a very nice openback. One of the great features was it's weight (or lack thereof). It's a light and durable little banjo, which are real pluses for those who travel. Nice work!"

Avimaan Syam: "I just wanted to say first off that I love my instrument, it is absolutely amazing. (I have the Meteorite with the added EMG pickup). I am super pleased with my tone both acoustically and plugged in--I can keep a little of that banjo twang and still get a jazzy clean tone, or I can switch to the Piezo pickup and rip up a bluegrass tune. The instrument's versatility, and ability to sound crisp at all settings, is what sets it apart. I am a Nechville user forever."

Bill Jenson: "The neck is like butter. I didn't think I could find a neck that I liked as well as the Stelling, but the Dojo is fantastic. The Reno licks that I play are effortless on it. I love it."

David Peterson: "I've been playing my new Walnut Phantom all day long - and love everything about it"

Roger Chenery: "I just got the Eclipse an hour ago and even with my novice quick setup, it's ringing beautifully! The tone is fabulous, best I've ever heard from any banjo I've owned. It's so versatile! It's as mellow as I could want and also louder and crisper than all my other banjos at the bridge. What a great banjo! I've had a Deering Calico, Wildwood Paragon, and a Gibson RB250 and this guy blows em all away! Thanks for making such a great product. The neck fits me perfect and is way easier to play than my Gibson was. I should be able to progress much faster now. You've got a fan for life!"

   About Nechville Banjos

What is a Helimount and Why Should I Care??

The beauty of the Helimount banjo system is its simplicity. Tension on regular banjo head is acheived as on a drum. The outer edge of the head is pulled down by tightening several nuts and bolts mounted around the outside of the banjo pot (which is often comprised of a metal tone ring and 3 ply maple rim) The common system used on all Non-Helimount banjos, employs dozens of parts that require careful, even adjustment to achieve the desired head tension and resulting tone. The tone ring/rim drum assembly, now laden with metal attachments is bolted to the neck via metal coordinator rods that span the rim. Bluegrass banjos with heavy metal hoops rods and flanges, even when properly adjusted may sometimes be considered to have an overly metalic nuance to their sound.

The Helimount system is a dramatic re-design of the banjo. Nechville has done away with the entire nut and bolt system of tightening the head. A lightweight cast and precision machined frame called the Helimount is adjustably, but firmly mounted to the neck. The important sound making parts of the head and tone ring/rim drop into the Helimount Frame. A flange type ring is then turned into place to provide even tension on the head without any interference from contact to metal parts. The threaded flange automatically distributes automatically even tension across the head and makes changing or adjusting the instrument quick and easy. No coordinator rods, hooks, nuts, flanges, hoops means a lighter instrument and less down time caused by maintenence and repair. The neck attaches along a smooth curved attachment zone that is solid, yet it allows for changes of neck angle for differing playing styles or bridge heights. Removing the neck for travel is also easy with this system. To complement his re-engineered banjo frame, Nechville has introduced his own tailpiece, compensated bridge, Comfort bevel armrest, built-in capo systems, radiused fingerboards and other ideas to enhance the banjo's form and function

Hi Tom, Cool banjos and songs to! Love em!
It is a pleasure to be your friend. This year has brought some wonderfully exciting news.
My new single, *Angels Cry* is currently charted @ #45 in it's 8th week on www.musicrow.com (Country Breakout Chart). I would love it if you could please take a moment and call your local Country Radio Station, and request my new single, *Angels Cry* by Tresa Jordan. The *Angels cry video* is also being aired on GAC TV Positively Country. I sing the story and play the part of the *Angel*. We have had excellent reviews on this song and video. You are welcome to listen and view *Angels Cry* on my space or my web site, www.tresajordan.com plus hear other songs I also co-wrote.
On my web site you will find a list of some Radio Stations, plus phone numbers to make it easier for you to call or send an email request. Just click on (REQUEST TRESA) and add your state. This would be a tremendous help in helping this great song to be heard and continue moving up the Country Chart. If the Radio Station does not have the new single yet, it can be requested from this Email address, management@tresajordan.com. My new Cd can be purchased from www.cmt.com, www.tresajordan.com & most record stores. Again, thanks for your help in getting *Angels Cry* heard out there. You are so appreciated! Love♥, Peace, and blessings, always, Tresa Jordan, Singer/Songwriter Nashville, TN. USA
