- Bio: Necrolatry is five guys joined together to accomplish one goal: play metal. Since the beginning we've made melodic death metal but have aways tried to incorporate different metal genres and create something unique. As "Metal-Norge" once wrote, "Necrolatry comes into their own sub-genre of metal, they're easy to like, but no one can accuse them of writing commercially acceptable songs". As in the song "Abducted By Death", the band goes from total deathgrind feeling to melodic breakdowns that sets the music apart from the rest and makes it interesting.
Since the band started in late 2006 with only three members there's been a problem with having a stable line-up. But now in 2009 it's probably the best it's ever been, and hopefully we'll remain together for longer than 6 fucking months for a change.
Lord BiGG is back and we've got Ivar Sælen on drums. We've also got a shitload of new songs and will be playing extensively after some studio time in december.

In the song "Abducted By Death", the band goes from total deathgrind feeling to wonderful melodic breakdowns. It shows how hard the band can be without losing a melodic touch.
"Angel Eyes" takes us in another direction with an almost industrial intro and the transition into the heavy part is very tight.
"Helpless" shows even more depth in guitar parts than the other songs.
"Depreaved" is without a doubt the catchiest song out of the list, here the band can compete with Dark Tranquility for the throne of the most catchy double guitar riffs.
