About Needle Up!

Needle Up loved each other in 2004. But then, not so much anymore. They rekindled their love in 2007 and have been rocking your faces off ever since. They've traveled cross country a few times and seen and met some very interesting characters.

Needle Up has been lucky to share the stage over the years with some of our most favorite bands, including Bitch & The Exciting Conclusion, Juliette Lewis & The Licks, The Butchies, Rasputina, Matt Pond PA and Q & Not U. In 2008, Bitch (Bitch & Animal, Bitch & The Exciting conclusion) proclaimed we were her new favorite band. Much love and bowling was soon to follow. In 2004, Kaia Wilson (The Butchies, Team Dresch) said we were a band to see, after we shook the ground of an all woman's college about to go co-ed.

After a year of creative growth, Needle Up is currently recording their follow up cd, set to be released in Spring 2009.
