The End Of Needleye.
And so it came to pass that the Needleye Beast would be put to sleep. Needleye was formed through a desire to create an unrelenting assault on the senses, to push the boundaries and deliver head-crushing metal to the masses. Not wanting to water-down the music or dilute the passion that drove the band, we have all decided that Needleye has reached its logical conclusion.
Needleye was always a strong band and as such we want it to have a strong ending. The new tracks that we have just finished in the studio have been put up as a testament to the cause and as a thank you to all those that have served under Needleye and helped us along the way.
To all the members past and present, to all of you that tore shit up at the gigs, to all the bands we have played with, to all the blown PA's, broken stages and all those that ever believed in us - we salute you.
Existing at the cutting edge, Needleye's feral breed of hybrid metal has existed in one form or another since 1999. Seeking to lay waste to the musical landscape around him, Duncan Wilkinson sought out like minded individuals to bring about a new world order of musical terrorism. have seen Needleye move onto bigger and more prestigious gigs. Equally infamous for their distinctive fashion
sense, Needleye's skewed sense of childish humour has extended to their merchandise, the family-orientated 'CUNT'
and 'Cut Myself A New Hole To Fuck' shirts bear testament to this, with both ranges continually selling out wherever the band tour. Keen to continually grow more extreme, the point at which Needleye reach their logical conclusion will result in the band imploding and leaving nothing more than thousands of empty cider bottles, the world's biggest KFC
Bargain Bucket, and a mysterious golden eagle's beak.
