 | | Television | shelley duvall's "faerie tale theatre" was the best thing on television. my favorite episodes were "the nightingale" starring mick jagger, and "pinocchio," starring paul reubens. klaus kinski's "beast" was on the level of epic rivaling bela lugosi. but who can forget billy crystal and fred willard in "the three little pigs?" dammit, all 26 episodes are brilliant. shelley duvall is a doe eyed genius. only she could accurately select the witches of my nightmares to be portrayed by joan collins and anjelica huston. she should have married and had a million creative babies with jim henson. which reminds me:
jim henson's storyteller series was the second best thing on television.
