Music
I'm pretty diverse with my musical tastes. However, most of the time you'll find me listening to some form of rock.
Some favorites include: Korn, Tool, Mudvayne, Disturbed, Static-X, Chevelle, Linkin Park...
Movies
Mainly I'm into comedies. I like some action movies, but not all. Same with drama. Just 'cause I'm a chick, it doesn't mean I like all chick flicks. But I will admit, there are a few of those tear jerkers that I like. Most horror movies are out for me. Hollywood has gotten TOO good at some of the gory special effects. I'm seriously one of those people that will cover my eyes at the bad parts and ask when it's ok to look again. Don't laugh :P
Television
Nip/Tuck RULES! I don't know why I'm so into that show, but I LOVE it. And what really sucks, I missed seasons 3 and 4. And now that season 5 has started, there's all kinds of drama I've missed. Matt and Kimber are married with a kid? Meth heads? I've got to get to blockbuster and rent those seasons I missed and get caught up!
Other shows.. CSI, Law & Order, Mythbusters, pretty much anything on the Discovery Channel.
Books
I read a lot of fiction. And here's the ironic part... I freak out over horror movies, but that's my favorite kind of book to read. So if all those gory movies have a book behind them, I'd rather read the book! About once a month or so, I love going to places like Goodwill and stocking up on a bunch of paperbacks. They're only like 2 bucks there so it works out great!

I never really know what to say on these things. Then again, I have to wonder if people really read these things much. I could say that I sacrifice goats in my spare time and most people probably wouldn't even see it.
Before anyone gets uptight about that, no, I don't sacrifice goats. Maybe a chocolate bunny will be sacrificed to my belly on occasion. But that's about it ;)
Let's see.. my main passion is bodybuilding and competing in Figure. I started competing in '03, and I was hooked from the start. There's just something about being on that stage. And all of the dedication that it takes just to get to that point, it makes me proud of the kind of person I am. I like that I can push myself past the 'norm.' And it gives me a great respect for all of my fellow competitors. It's not an easy thing to do. But hey, if it was easy, everyone would be doing it ;)
Other than competing, I do some modeling from time to time. I've worked with some really great people doing that. I've been able to meet some wonderful people across the country that I may not have met otherwise. And really, it's just a lot of fun to play dress-up and take on some different personas in my shoots that I may not be able to pull off in my everyday life.
Let's see... other random facts about me...
I'm NOT a morning person. I never have been. Probably never will be. Oh, I'll get up early when I have to, just don't expect me to be cheery. Just wait until I've had some coffee, then I'm not as much of a grouch.
I can play connect the dots with my own freckles and make just about anything. I have the Big Dipper on one arm and Orion on the other. And yes, I was bored a lot in school and that's how I discovered these things.
I'm an extremely picky eater. I won't gnaw meat from a bone, so ribs and wings are out for me (I think too much about connective tissues and fat). Tomatoes gross me out. It's like they're still in the larval stage and need to finish developing. Mushrooms are borderline since they're fungus. Chopped up small, I can deal with them... sometimes. Whole or large slices, not so much. Spicy foods are mostly out. If I even use too much black pepper, my mouth is one fire. The list goes on... no wonder my mom got tired of trying to cook for me when I was a kid.
I like to have my alone time... whether it be sitting back reading a novel, doing some drawing, going to the gym, catching up on emails... I don't even care if other people are around when I do things like that, I just like to occasionally be able to get off into my own little world without someone interrupting me.
I'm a cat person. It's not that I don't like dogs, I just prefer cats. I think it's mainly due to the fact that a cat's personality is a lot like mine; independent, a little bitchy, and you can leave them alone for a while and not worry about them getting freaked out.
As my mom says, I'm "Tom Boy meets Barbie." Some days you can find me in my sweats all day. Other days I'm dressed up, trying to look good. I'm quite the dichotomy like that.
Who I'd like to meet: Fitness minded people; those in the industry and those who respect it. Photographers. Models. Basically, people with a passion in life.
That would be awesome! If you had one in Central Cali or Medford or Portland, here, Denver, Oklahoma City....I'd for sure try to make it. Well..hawaii I'd damn sure try :)
