Following the demise of previous projects, guitarist Pete and bass player Brett continued to work on writing and sharpening their existing material.
The search began for like-minded musos to start a new project and with the arrival of Adam on drums and Dave (aka Neckbeard) on vocals, Nefaria was born.
The band began to shape their sound by combining the feel of bands such as, Pantera, Slayer, The Haunted, Metallica & Mercyful Fate and continued rehearsing and writing.
Taking to the stage around various venues in Brisbane, Nefaria developed a reputation as a must see live band - providing a crushing and energy-fueled set with beer-swilling groove that you just can't sit still to.
Late in 2006 the boys locked themselves into Airlock studios with "Emerson" and began recording their Ep. One week, 7 Bbqs, 2 odd Lt of Jack Daniels and countless beers & other booze later - "Erase the one believed" was recorded!
Right now, the band is continuing to play shows around the Brisbane area and working on more material - again/still/forever.

DJ’s Hoops,Loki and special guest NikkiDJ will be spinning tunes rockin’ enough to wake the dead, there’ll be Zombie themed cocktails, a Zombie makeup booth, Guitar Hero 3, cult Zombie movies on the plasma screen, a freakshow by 'Damaged Goods' and prizes for the best zombie outfits.
