Nefarious debuted on the Charlotte, North Carolina and the South Eastern United States metal scene in the spring of 2009! Founded by some back woods moonshine making metal heads, Nefarious consist of the screaming / Singing skilled front man Belton Horten, and the low end rumble of Ole Hel on bass! The music and sounds of the band have been best described as a melodic infusion of Pantera, Hatebreed, Slayer, Chimaira, and Arsis. Nefarious currently tours their region in the states of North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and Washington DC.
In the summer 2009 Nefarious recorded its EP known as Feed Us The Weak. The band went on to play select dates and has collectively opened for Anthrax, Slayer, Testament, Demun Jones of REHAB, Soulfly, Hammerfall, Mushroomhead, Obituary, Children of Bodom, Yngwie Malmsteen, as well as many other national and International bands! The Band has collectively Played across the US and Europe to include Metal Fest such as Metal Camp in Slovenia, Earth shaker Festival in Germany.
In the Fall of 2009, Nefarious released their debut Ep titled "Feed Us The Weak". Nefarious is currently writing for their full length release due next summer of 2010! Nefarious is also working on the details to travel to Europe in Late 2010!

Nefarious isn't your typical 'Southern' band. This is a band, however, molded and twisted by their environment. Passionate, focused, hanging on to their Blues/Metal pride and upbringing, much like Most Bands seem to forget. The war torn history of the brotherhood is a tribute to stubbornness and retribution that belies all combined groups before and concerns introspection in rock, blues and metal as an inspiration/instigation for the ages. Nefarious has risen a certain flag high for every piss poor jealous fool to see. They wear their influences on their ragged sleeves as well as personify despair and display agony very accurately. Welcome to the Carolina Metal Scene! This is a true Carolina Band consisting of Members from both North and South Carolina. This Full Fledge Metal Assault Ensemble has emerged to bring you what the normal average cookie cutter Recording Artist cannot bring you! This is chemistry. This is the solution.
