Sounds Like
We've been told that we sound like a mix between Immortal and Darkthrone...maybe...if so, that's fucking bad ass!! There are also claims that we resemble Belphegor in sound, which is equally flattering. Although we try to sound like "NeFiRuM", influences will always make their way into our music.
Growing contempt with the monotony of the music scene in
which we find ourselves, we have decided to vent our frustrations
through our abilities to destroy your eardrums, while still playing
substantial compositions. It may not be for everybody, which is
just fine with us. We dont have the time or desire to fit a mold in order to get people to like us. But if you do like the music, then come to shows and support local METAL!!
Although we aim for the
Black metal soundscape, and for fans who appreciate our attempts
to do so, we will not limit ourselves to one subgenre of metal/music,
nor will we degrade ourselves or our art for the sake of popularity
or being anything other than what we, Nefirum, naturally manifest
to be. If you dont like it, tough shit, we make no excuses. You can
play all the breakdowns/trendy shit you want,(and if you do it
decently, then more power to you and we hope to share the stage
with you!) but that IS NOT, and never will be NeFiRuM.
