  • Bio

Neil Austin Imber lived and breathed his guitar and music from an early age. His musical taste was first fed by U2. His parents had to buy a new Rattle and Hum video because he wore out the first one. He then listened to Creed and Alterbridge until a girlfriend turned me on to country music. He finally felt like he was home. Neil completed his first CD called Roll The Dice at Limelight Recording Studio in 2009. It was mastered at Masterphonics in Nashville. The second CD, Livin' On Credit Workin' For a Dime was produced by the musical genius of Mr. Billy Hillman at HillTrax Studio in Huntsville, TX. Background Vox were added at Soundstage Studios in Nashville and the mastering was completed at Congress House Studio's Mark Hallman in Austin, TX. Radio promotion for "It's Been A Few Years" is being handled by JayKarl of the Bravo1group who will also handle all media requests 931.413.5585 jkjb1p@aol.com Quotes: "I've had several hit songs that I've written, but I never wrote anything that good until I was in my 30's. You've got the look, the voice, and you obviously know how to write. You've got it all." Bill Wence, Bill Wence Promotions "Neil is a fabulous songwriter and singer. He's got one of the truest voices I've ever heard. His pitch is next to perfect, and he's just got charisma. That is what it takes. In my opinion, that's what made George Strait - his charisma. And I feel like Neil has that charisma".
