It was about 110 degrees on the stage that night and we were drained by the end of the first set. But the second set played on pure adrenaline was even better! We even had the "Dealetts" gogo dancers we recruited for this show...Great Times!
We are a tribute band to the music of Neil Young. We are from Southern California and play at fairs, festivals and major clubs and casinos. Our "Neil-guy" Denny has been doing a Neil Young tribute show for about 9 years. We are not crazed fans or anything we just love the songs and enjoy playing them. And playing them well.
"How do we sound?" Well, we put out a live album of songs we cover called "Live in Hollywood". It was recorded only as a side thought at the Club Lingerie one night. It was recorded straight through the mixing board direct to CD without benefit of any music overdubs whatsoever. The recording came out so clean and powerful that we just loved it and made it available to the public on CD.
Special thanks to Neil Young for being one of our first friends to show up on the new MySpace page. Neil's new album "Chrome Dreams II" contains the song "Dirty Old Man" and we have started playing it in our live shows and it goes over great!
People often ask us "Have you ever met Neil? The answer is no, but if we ever had a chance to jam with him it would be pure magic. We did get a chance to sing with Neil's sister Astrid though. If you look in the center of the pics below you'll see her.

The wait is over!!! Sunday October 18th, 2009 is the date for the 1st Annual L. A. KISS EXPO. This is a perfect time to celebrate an all day event of new album releases by KISS, ACE FREHLEY and BRUCE KULICK. What an exciting time for KISS ARMY members everywhere! There will be KISS merchandise, a KISS costume contest, KISS trivia and much, much, more! This event includes special guest and legendary guitarist BRUCE KULICK. Bruce will be doing a Q&A and signing autographs and if we're lucky we might get him onstage to play a few classic hits. Book Author and special guest WENDY MOORE of "Into the Void" and now unveiling her new book "Out Of the Void". Wendy will be doing a book signing and a Q&A for the fans. This years event will include L.A.'s own "VENUS ENVY" one of the hottest bands on the Strip! "School of Rock" has joined up with the L.A. KISS EXPO and rock guitarist Bruce Kulick will be rockin out the kids! FIFI LARUE will be performing, and finally hold on to your seats... The hottest tribute band in the land "PRISS", will be performing an awesome set of KISS tunes! LA KISS EXPO AT LAX MARRIOTT!!! $20 bucks... Kids 12 & under FREE!!!
