Am gonna try and make it along to the Crucible gig. Richard Hawley's all sold out unfortunately but it will be great to see you play again. Have been sharing your music with some friends of mine who want to know if you'll be playing any gigs in the South West of England at any point. They're Bristol folk and are keen to see you play live. I'll keep an eye on your upcoming gigs just in case.
hey, saw you at the leadmill last night and wanted to thank you for contributing to maybe the best gig i've ever been to. London Road in particular stayed with me so i'll probably be seeing you again at some point!
Neil, Thanks for finally getting this wonderful album out. Have been looking forward to it since seeing those first few solo shows going back two years now. It's full of songs that are striking both lyrically and musically - a rare thing these days. You deserve much wider recognition for this beautiful piece of work. My album of 2009, no ifs, no buts.....end of (as i think the young folk say these days)
really enjoyed luminaire .. lovely little venue .. fab atmosphere .. felt as tho we were all friends & even made some new ones .. am loving the new album, hearing it brings it all to life for me .. fave's are standing still & wonder in the making .. looking forward to hearing you play again ..thank you ..
One of the best gigs I have been to in ages. You were magnificent at the Luminaire. Loved Little Lost David too. Unfortunately I arrived too late to see Georgia Ruth Williams. Have uploaded some video footage of the gig: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pixIuwvCXwQ
hi neil , we'll be at the show if the travelling goes smoothly. anyway we would be completely honoured if you decide to play at our show... thanks so much for having us . absolutely loved the set ali
Hey up neil!,new album gets better and better with each play. "standing still" and "wonder in the making" are still my stand outs, but really, the whole album's class, and when you played them live, all the songs were lifted to another level.Hope london's a fantastic gig, they're lucky and in for treat! Tadge.
Hope you're fine and that the album launch is going well. Standing Still should be a major hit. Great melody and razor-sharp lyrics, not a word wasted.
Hope the gig tonight is a brilliant one - I'm well annoyed I can't come down. Got a thing in Leeds I've got to go to. You'll still be playing full band for a while won't you? And when can I get my mitts on an album? Tom
Wishing you all the best for the gig at the Plug in Sheffield this Thursday - 8th Oct. Am so looking forward to the London gig next week on 16th Oct at the Luminaire.
Its always a pleasure to see and hear you play live, hope all is going well. I am looking forward to seeing you play live again soon! all the very best David
Hi Neil, so sorry I can't make it to the launch. October is just a busy time for me. My daughters and another 3 B-Days. So I'm very busy. Best of luck for the launch. Sell lorry loads of your cds..... and keep rocking cheers Elly
