Sounds Like
me most of the time......some have told me they hear a bit of gene clark, elliott smith, neil young, the beatles which is hopefully evidence that i'm doing something right!
started my musical existence with early 90's glasgow group 'a chocolate morning', releasing a couple of indie singles along the way before the bands' sad demise in 1994. recorded an album of 8 track acousticness with my friend / producer / engineer frank gallagher titled 'nothinghead' which came out on our 'troubadour' label in 1995. despite an enjoyable year of touring the album the lure of electric volume won out when 'the goldenhour' was formed in 1996. to date we have released 2 albums ('beyond the beyond' -raft records 2003) and 'always in the now' - neon tetra records 2005) and played over 200 gigs throughout the uk.
currently playing live with my fantabulous band (NS & The Infomaniacs) and also as a solo acoustic artist. i'm also working on my second solo album 'geography and luck' which will hopefully see the light of day in spring 2010.....
