I enjoy writing immensely (most of all fiction). I also possess an intense love of reading. I'm pretty much an OCD reader. If there are words around, guaranteed I will have read them. :)
I am half Canadian. My mum's whole family lives there and she grew up there. Actually, the first 7 years of my life was spent in Canada, so it has a special place in my heart. Especially Newfoundland, the absolute prettiest place on the planet.
I was born in Dallas, Texas. WOOHOO! Although sometimes I feel more Canadian than Texan, I am proud to be from Texas. Not to mention the fact that it now holds an extra-special place in my heart. ♥ The Cowboys are MY boys. And the Mavericks are the best team. EVER.
COLD WEATHER ROCKS! Sweaters, snow, hot chocolate, fires in the fireplace, curling up with a good book, turning the heater on in my car, etc. Starbucks' Caramel Apple Cider is my obsession. I could drink one every day and never get sick of the appley goodness.
Jane Austen is my hero. I'm in love with her characters. Colonel Christopher Brandon. Mr. George Knightley. And especially Mr. Fitzwilliam Darcy. ♥ But not the icky new one; I like the Colin Firth representation. ;)
I am happily married to the most amazing man on the planet: Andrew C. Louis. ♥ I am so thankful for him and for the opportunity I have every day to die to myself and put his wants and needs above my own. It is not always easy (in fact, it NEVER is), but it is the life to which God called me. And I wouldn't trade it for the world.

Hey girl. Thaks for the sweet baby comment. He is so perfect. He's really strong to. The little stinker started rolling over a few days after we got home from the hospital. I have a vidio of it on facebook. Are you on facebook? How are you and your hubby doing? Adjusting to married life okay? When you are so in love, it's not hard to adjust.
