Been making beats, writing lyrics & rhyming since 1997, I started off as 1/5 of 3rd Dimention which later became Dimentions Music, I recorded quite a bit of hip-hop with that group which has become a foundation for my sound in general. During those early years I used my Dad's old 2-track recorder to capture our beats & rhymes, everything had to be done in 1 shot with no editing, I made a solo cassette tape at the age of 17 titled "The epoch of nekron" I did everything myself & sold what copies I could afford to make, this led to 1 more solo cassette release on the 2-track titled "Continuous experience". I eventually upgraded to a Tascam 4-track & recorded a ton of Dimentions Music songs, beats & freestyle sessions & a solo cassette project titled "Time line rhyme design". Around the year 2000 I finally went digital & got a computer, mixboard, sound modules, etc. Under the mentoring of Meno from Ayaic studios I learned how to use Cubase, Wave lab, Nuendo etc. I recorded at least 3 projects with Dimentions Music during this time, those recording's remain archived & will see the light of day eventually, as the group went separate ways shortly after. I started a group with AA520 (now Solaris5) around the year 2000 & was trying to blend her poetry with my beats & rhymes, we then evolved & became Mind Inscription, fusing all forms of music into abstract expression making 9 albums so far all in my home studio. I just finished my first solo Digital project titled "Nekrono Trigger" & am working on my second album. Now a days I like to make Hip-hop, trip-hop, noise, jazz, rock, funk, ambience, dub, blues & experimental music.
The meaning of nekron is taken from the old 70's movie "Wizards", there is a character named Necron99 who is a dark confused character who realizes he is actually a peaceful being who wants to use his powers for good, that pretty much sums up how I became an artist & wanted to change my perspective in creating music because I touch on both the light & dark elements of life through my music & lyrics. The "916" does not mean I'm from that area code!, it simply is my birthday (September 16)...but if you want to get DEEP, I symbolize it as a yin-yang numerology reference, meaning the number "9" represents good & holiness, the "1" symbolizes God or the force of balance in the center & last the number "6" represents darkness & evil.
Just thought I should let you know that I uploaded a demo of "Texture Decays". The demo version is very different from the album version, but it should do for now.
