About me:

I don't like talking about myself... I'm not Narcissistic like that, all you really need to know about me is that I am a 26 year only guy, with a Retro-Gothic nature. A guy that's into Romance, friends, music, stuff like that.

As I'm sure a lot of people will know, I used to DJ the Marthas Cyber Goth night, unfortunately though as I'm sure most of you are aware, the Licensee at that time wanted out and Marthas in its current state was closed.

After a short venture at Rock haven, Twisted Illusions moved to the Christopher's Bar. Alas though, this again wasn't a happy end to the Twisted Illusions story, come December, news was released the the RAW promotions had came in with a hostile take over of the Christophers venue, and Claimed it on a Weekly basis for Wednesday and Saturday nights. Unfortunately, Twisted Illusions didn't have any kind of financial backing to attempt to outbid RAW on its Saturday night... So once again Twisted became homeless...

Recently, Twisted has run at the Duke of Wellington Venue, though once again, another Weekly takeover took place by Evolution Promotions, and now has come a time where the Alternative scene is all but dead and buried in the City of Lincoln.

Twisted Illusions is still struggling with Venues, with pretty much every Pub, Bar, Club or Venue shunning the Alternative scene to cater for the Current Emo and Scene climate. The future currently is looking very bleak...

However though, I still have some sort of faith, and I will continue to do my bit to try and keep some sort of life in the alternative scene in Lincoln. Despite how bleak the future may look at times...
