Nella's first public performance at St-Andre Mathieu theatre solidified her hopes and dreams of becoming a recording artist. At the age of only 12, Nella blew the audience away with her powerful and soulful voice and got a standing ovation and requests for an encore performance: "that night, I wasn't even thinkin about the performance and how I was going to do it, I was in the center of a huge stage with thousands of people watchin' me and I knew I had to make a lasting impression. It was crazy, I hit notes I didn't even know I was capable of." It was obvious to see that her journey started that night, when she started captivating more and more people with her passion for music. A year later, her friends kept telling her to join local talent shows and one day she actually joined "Karaoklip" a popular show on musiqueplus, she followed through and made it to the finals, which helped her develop her stage presence. After "Karaoklip", she started working in the studio, recording demo's for song writers and as the years went by, Nella mastered her craft but faced trials and tribulations, tossed from manager to manager trying to find the right path. Nella's energy and "fearless" attitude is very inspiring . She has performed on a high school tour across Montreal encouraging young women to respect themselves and teaching them that real beauty is found within. She has also been featured on CTV news, Global TV and has opened for Kilowatt a well respect collective Montreal based band. To add to Nella’s still growing list of accomplishments, her song writing skills have inspired teenage girls to look in the mirror and see something they love and reeinforces a positive image. With the genuine raw talent that Nella possesses only the sky is the limit.
