somethings [autobiographical-ish]
when i was small, i used to get sent to the closet for pretending to play piano on my desk and humming my creations during classtime . . .
now, i play a dinky old casio. one day, someone asked me if my mom had bought it for me at k.mart. i was only mildly offended. actually, my friend joel bought it for me at a yard sale. at least i have something with keys now and at least no one is putting me in the closet for my music anymore.

nelly, i wish i got that message earlier. i was in new york this weekend though. how was philly? jeeez i've been thinking of you recently, i'm sorry i missed that.
oh no! i sincerely wish i was able to go on tour with you, that would be the BEST THING THERE IS! but i'm flying to hawaii right around that time. we gotta get in touch soon. ESPECIALLY when i'm back from hawaii, which is october second. i miss you so much. my fingers are crossed for you and this tour.
