About me:
Who am I? …I am a music producer, composer, instrumentalist, author, and vocalist in the Buffalo area. I work in every genre of music - from rock to jazz, country to hip-hop and beyond.
AWARDS:

FILM AND TELEVISION:
In 2006 I scored music for the hit TV shows, “Psychic Detectives” and “Missing Persons Unit” both on Court TV. Previously my music appeared prominently on the Fox television show, “Party of Five.”
Currently licensed to Columbia/Tri-Star Pictures is an album I produced for the hip-hop duo Form Follows Funk titled “Perpendicular.”
Finally, I scored and produced the soundtrack for the independent film noir, “The Falls” (Ardustry Home Entertainment).
JAZZ:
A few of the names I have performed with are former Blue Note recording artist Sam Noto, bari-sax great Bruce Johnstone, British saxophonist Iain Ballamy, Dominic Miller (Sting’s longtime guitarist) and, of course, the Eric Starr Group – my brother’s ensemble that I sing lead vocals in. In 2004 I performed with ESG at a sold-out performance at New York’s Lincoln Center.
ROCK:
I have played sessions for Grammy winning producers, Harvey Jay Goldberg (Rolling Stones) and Jeffrey Lesser (Lou Reed); performed and recorded with Ezra Reich, toured as the bassist for 10,000 Maniacs and recently completed a tour as the keyboardist for the platinum selling Canadian artist, Jeff Martin (formerly of Tea Party).
I co-produced four albums by The Tails, and am currently producing (and often engineering) music for the acclaimed rock act Floozie, hip-hop duo Perpendicular, and Maria Sebastian. I’ve played on several of these albums as well.

Finally, I am also one of WNY’s top male jingle-singers for Ad Songs (Ken Kaufman/Entercom Radio). You can sometimes hear me when your alarm goes off in the morning –sorry!
