Bio:

Asturian based in Madrid, Nelue (Fernando Gómez) began studying music at the Real Music Conservatory at the age of 4 years, his training ranges from the Classic to the Electronica passing by the Rock and Jazz. While studying the career of Audio Engineering began working for different studios and collaborate with the most varied projects: Bienvenido Sr. Trance (RNE), Lorca (Universal), Plan 9 (Warner Chapel / Boa Records) and Sara Da Pin Up (Warner / Surreal EI) among others. At present he works as music composer for the Wisdom Entertaiment Group scoring all kind of audiovisual stuff ( tv commercials, tv shows, videogames, 3d animations shorts,…) Nelue combines classic songwriting techniques with a cutting-edge, authentic nu-disco sound. Their magically blends their influences of classic NYC house, disco, funk and '80s pop influences. Only a small handful of dance acts can put on a proper live performance, and he a his friends are a band that gets the party started!!

(Vynil) Matt Moroder proves this ability right away with the blinding, hypnotizing "Secret Secret" - an interpretation of a cut by one the biggest, most avantgardistic 70’s rock/ pop icons; he extends a short portion of the originals beat, loops the jagged guitar riff and throws in more layers of congas, shaker, handclaps etc before revealing the track’s secret by throwing in parts of the chorus sung by this totally distinctive, instantly recognizable voice. Flip over for spanish producer Nelue’s take on "Porque Te Vas" - a one hit wonder song that had worldwide success after being the main theme in Carlos Saura Cannes-winning movie 'Cria Cuervos'. already an unusual mixture in it’s original form - breathy lolitaesque vocals gel ingeniously with a more 60’s bubblegum orchestration of horns, big beats and folky guitar - Nelue does a great job with sublte loops and additional bubbly synth overdubs while keeping the sing-a-long charm intact.

Nelue returns to the turntables with the second 12” single featuring Spanish folk singstress Russian Red. “Deconstructed” is a summery disco-ish tune with a nice Balearic feel to it. And speaking of Balearic, try the laidback (or lazy?) “Chick Me Up” on for size. Remixes of the title track come from Nelue himself (Cosmic Remix) and disco/house meisters Crazy P, who gave the track a juicy, beefy re-rub. “Deconstructed” is the second of two 12” vinyls, the tracks of which are brought together on the CD “Deconstructed EP” (LMNK32)

(Digital) "Paradise Road" was his presentation card, an epic EP that could well be the sound track of one of those old science fiction movies. It's impossible to hear "Paradise Road" or "Ninja Star Fighting " and not remember the battles of Flash Gordons while "Cosmic Seed" is a more danceable track, less epic but with the same interstellar feeling. Essential for fans of classic like Moroder or Alan Parsons also for the followers of Metro Area, Putsch'79, Chicken Lips, Kelley Polar...Some feedbacks: Cosmo Vitelli (I'm A Cliché records) Nice music! Daniel Wang (Balihu) Sound is really good, chords and changes all correct. Very competent! Ilya Santana (Balihu) The Nelue's EP completed of works that show part of his talent as musician, especially with Cosmic Seed, the perfect balance between Electronica and Cosmic Phsycodelic.
