    Qualsiasi musica che mi provochi emozioni.

    Non sono un purista di nessun genere musicale.
    Il ritmo è per me una componente fondamentale di una buon pezzo musicale.
    La mia band preferita sono e rimangono i Queen, ma in realtà spazio dalla musica classica all'hard rock, al metal estremo.
    Ascolto malvolentieri folk, country e musica celtica salvo eccezioni.

    My preferred band, is and remains Queen, but I actually listen from classical music, to extreme metal. I don't like folk, country and celtic music so much, with some exceptions, by the way.

About me:

Daniele Mattei nasce a S.Margherita Ligure.
Da sempre interessato all'arte e al disegno, sviluppa una grande passione per tutto ciò che è creatività. Inizialmente si avvicina da autodidatta al disegno a matita ed inchiostro di china, influenzato principalmente dall'arte del fumetto e dalla grafica. Crescendo, espande i suoi interessi anche alla pittura all'aquerello, olio e diverse altre tecniche tradizionali. Studia presso la Scuola Chiavarese del Fumetto e presso L'Accademia Ligustica di Belle arti a Genova, dove allarga le sue conoscenze sui linguaggi dell'arte,l'anatomia e la pittura, sotto la guida del prof. Guido Zanoletti.

Daniele Mattei was born in S.Margherita Ligure (Italy).
He grew up with a great passion for drawing, painting, and all what concerns art and creation. At first,he especially liked drawing in pencil and china ink, being mainly influenced by comic art and graphism. Growing up he expanded his interest into watercolors, oil painting and several other traditional painting techniques. He attended courses from Scuola Chiavarese del Fumetto(comic art school of Chiavari) and Accademia Ligustica di Belle Arti (Ligustic fine art school- Genoa-Italy)where he expanded his knowledge of art, anatomy and painting techniques under the teaching of Prof. Guido Zanoletti, painter and Illustrator.



Segni. Segni su carta, su tela, segni nella mente, segni dappertutto. L'immagine è segno, la parte visibile di me. Nero. Nero su bianco. Bianco su nero. Yin e Yang. I due lati dell'anima emergono dal caos, ognuno infinito e molteplice in se stesso. Gioco di equilibri o emergere di un dato di fatto?

Ciò che può essere mostrato, non può essere detto.

Signs. Signs on paper, on canvas, signs everywhere. Images are signs, the visible part of me. Black. Black on white, white on black. Yin and yang. Both sides of soul emerge fron chaos, both of them infinite and multiple in itself.
