most of what I write is acoustic guitar based. while my music tastes are rather eclectic most of my stuff sounds like ryan adams, joseph arthur, and other singer songwriter stuff
For over ten years I have hacked it out on guitar writing songs about my life experience. Music has always been something I have been passionate about, and I continue to hold it close to my heart. I spend a significant amount of my time being creative, it's the only thing that keeps me sane. A collection of my songs and thoughts can be found at www.poeticallycorrect.net. Every day I add something new and the songs and poems evolve as my life changes. I appreciate people who are genuine, optimistic, have a good sense of humor, and are honest about themselves. Let's face it, no one's perfect and people that pretend to be are annoying.
I have lived in beautiful Sarasota, Florida for three years and I currently work in the marketing department for the one and only LexJet. My residence is an old orange house located next to the art colony in the heart of downtown Sarasota. The rumor is that the house was once home to midgets in the twenties. This area was fabulously nicknamed Tiny Town, and I think that's just about the coolest name ever.
I was born in Georgia and moved to North Carolina when I was 13. The little town of Statesville will always be home. In 2003, I graduated from UNC Charlotte with Business degree in Economics. All of my immediate family lives in North Carolina, and I miss them all a great deal. I have lived in the South all my life.

ummm, I've heard of them but I've never listened to them.. I've heard good and bad things about them as well. NC has some really good venues. maybe you should move back home.
