    Yeah... Latin is a bastard to learn though, it's very inflected. It has a lot of grammatical cases (where words change slightly depending on their job in the sentence), which English lost ages ago. Having said that, you'd certainly learn a lot about language in general by studying it :] Also they say that if you understand Latin, decent Italian is just a couple of weeks learning away, since they're so similar.

    It does seem like a much less useful language to learn, mainly because most Swedes speak better English than we could ever hope to with Swedish! That aside though, it sounds fantastic when spoken. Sort of Slavic without the harshness.
