..
A confidential team.
We are a group of 2 to 6 members, that depending on the case, perform a 4-10 hour investigation, employing a number of infrared
And digital video cameras, , EMF (electromagnetic field) Detectors, Audio Receivers, And other equipment throughout the site.
While at a site, the members of the team often find explanations for the occurrences.
When complete we will report on the findings, and express our opinion on the location.
We do not charge for the investigations.
We do however accept (gift donations) to help pay for fuel, equipment, etc, (Optional)
All members on our team are volunteers,
We may also use College students from time to time, in the fields of Audio/Video or other fields related to paranormal.
We may also occasionally send evidence out to other groups
or Labs for analysis depending on the nature.(rare)
(Your reputation)
Something to think about before contacting a paranormal group.
We are a reputable and confidential team that uses good scientific methodology, And will keep the results private.
This is important psychologically whether the results of the research determine it is haunted, or not.
Your reputation can be damaged if you claim your business or home is haunted, and there is nothing conclusive.
We will not come to a conclusion with just basic evidence.
Negative findings of paranormal activity, As a result of just one night's observations, might be taken by some as fact.
It could cause them to think the problem is in their head, leading them astray from the real problem.
False positives could also result in people moving out of a home that has nothing wrong with it.
The North East Mass Paranormal Investigation Team is located in Lowell, Mass. We started as a UFO investigation team back in the late 70s, threw out Massachusetts and New Hampshire. We later shifted our attention more to the Paranormal / Ghost Hunting fields and adopted the name Nem-Pit. We would say our 1st actual Ghost Hunt took place in 1984 at the Mt Adems Inn, in the White Mountains, New Hampshire. We are a brother team that from an early age have always been interested in the unexplained. We can usually debunk or possibly capture evidence of your Paranormal problem. We are always interested in hearing from you.
Anyone wishing to accompany us must be over 18 and sign the appropriate forms. To join the team you must be over 20 years of age. EMAIL: Nem-Pit@comcast.net

With all do respect:
Regarding mediums etc.:
We do not generally use mediums etc. on our investigations,
Altho there are genuine mediums out there, We have met a few that have shown to be false.
But: thank you to the other genuine mediums in the field.
You are rare, And hope you join our site.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Regarding Orbs: We do not usually list orb photos on our site unless they are very unusual.
There are 1000S of them on other sites, But we believe mostly all can be explained away.
We have found many many situations that can produce an orb like appearance.

What To Expect from us when requesting an Investigation:
We Generally E-mail a questionnaire which you can fill out and E-mail back to us.
Then we can set up a Preliminary visit where we talk with you and go over the questionnaire.
When we visit your site, time is spent in a relaxed and comfortable manner where questions are asked and forms are filled out.
We'll explain our procedures for an actual investigation, And have our release forms signed.
We will take a tour of the building, Than work with you to schedule the date for the investigation.
We can generally tell the kind of case that we will have, But It is important that you answer honestly on our questionnaire. We would not like to walk into a different situation than we have been led to expect. If you are honest and open we will get the best results.
On location the team leader is the only one aware of the specifics of the activity, The assist team goes into the Investigation with basic information as not to influence them.
The team arrives about a half-hour before the investigation, We take a walk around the home as to know the layout while the lights are on. We than set up our equipment in various rooms.
Once we are setup, the lights etc. go out and we begin our investigation.
If in a home, residents must stay in one place in the home during the investigation,
No smoking or lighting candles are allowed, The smoke and scents can interfere with our Investigation,
We ask that residents do not have anyone over but themselves.
We turn all the lights off, and shut off most electrical appliances,
IF YOUR IN NEED OF AN INVESTIGATION. You may also check. Http://home.comcast.net/~Nem-Pit/

For each new morning with its light, For rest and shelter of the night, For health and food, for love and friends, For everything Thy goodness sends. ~Ralph Waldo Emerson
At times our own light goes out and is rekindled by a spark from another person. Each of us has cause to think with deep gratitude of those who have lighted the flame within us. ~ Albert Schweitzer
"In Flanders fields the poppies blow Between the crosses, row on row, That mark our place; and in the sky The larks, still bravely singing, fly Scarce heard amid the guns below
We are the dead. Short days ago We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow, Loved, and were loved, and now we lie In Flanders fields." - Colonel John McRae, In Flanders Fields November 11th - Veteran's Day in America, Armistice Day, 1918, Remembered
With a grateful heart.. Thank you to all Veterans, from all branches of service, both foreign and domestic!!
Though we want to put it behind us because of the pain it has caused- it is impossible because of all the horrors of that day...
"All of a sudden there were people screaming. I saw people jumping out of the building. Their arms were flailing. I stopped taking pictures and started crying." --Michael Walters, a free-lance photo journalist in Manhattan.
