Fruits of the mind of Exis (vocals), quickly joined by Kaeïss (bass), Neo-Cultis is born in 1999.
The line-up is completed by e.KoN (guitar), Aarkhan (guitar), Samortum Blackmore (keyboards) et Gérard (Drums). Each having been member, during long years, of several Metal bands, from Heavy Metal to Black Metal, the group’s idea was to mix their miscellaneous influences with a domination of Extreme Metal, including cold electronic sounds.
But fast, Neo-Cultis separates from Blackmore and Aarkhan. Finding nobody for keyboards parts, Exis decided to charge himself with the programming. What will bring Exis, e.KoN and Kaeïss to separate from their drummer, finding in sequencers and drum-machine the final touch to the sound they were searching for.
Fast, compositions are created and there is a total osmosis between the three members. « The Black Trinity »’s concept is born.
2001, Neo-Cultis first demo,« Haereti-K », is out.
Following a good reception from listeners and reviewers, Neo-Cultis plays more often outside of its region, offering shows, still more extreme and decadent, playing with bands like Fornication, Antimonium, Lex Talionis, Voracious Gangrene, Innerfeuds, Nuit noire, Asmodée, Gothic, Fate, Grimoria, Human Factor, Lexall, Soror Dolorosa and various local bands…
Now the demo is sold-out.
2002, Aarkhan is back...
The end of 2004 will have to be awaited to see the product of their debut album « oKKult: Act II ».
However, the recording is premature and the result in under the hopes of both the band and the listeners. The consequence of this, and the non-existent promotion, make Neo-Cultis plunges then in almost full anonymity.
Seldom plays the band on stage, few composes, the motivation deteriorates, tensions appear between members. Neo-Cultis comes back as a trio and break-up with Aarkhan. But nothing changes in the band’s life.
However, a show in October 2005 stays in the minds of all persons present to the concert. On stage with Ossuaire, Depressive Winter, Sa Meute and Fleshdoll, Neo-Cultis will release an exceptional rage, which confirms its statute of live band. But this back to life will be short.
2 years of lethargy will reinforce the discomfort of the band, and at the beginning of 2008, e.KoN decides to leave them, very quickly replaced by Sköll those 2 events will awake the energy of Neo-Cultis.
Sköll’s integration is immediate, and changes begin by the band’s logo. The formation starts to work on new songs, the sound and the visual on stage. Tour dates appear, and the MCD is envisaged to be out the fall of this same year.
September 2008, the recording of the « The 3rd eXperiment: sex, hate & necrophilia » begins.
During the same time, Neo-Cultis plays with Alien Deviant Circus, S.A.G.G., Résistance, Steelgar, ReDimoni.
Their exhibitions on stage appear to be more and more extreme, with a remarkable evolution on the sound and the visual, thanks to the using of video-projection of morbid and brutal sequences, in the same spirit than their concept.
Exis decides to kill himself and borns again through l’Archange, as the band wants to turn the page in order to begin a new chapter.

Si ce n'était que le public Perpignanais, ce serait facile ! On le ferai ailleurs le concert, mais c'est malheureusement partout pareil... Difficile de reveiller des moutons quand ils dorment... Faudrait que la crise financière nous fasse tous crever de faim pour revoir des énervés dans les concerts ! En tout cas, vous vous y étiez et ça nous a bien fait plaisir !

Je vais très bien et vous ? ^^ A la fac c'est un peu le bordel, on espère que les cours vont reprendre car ça fait 2 mois que ça dure... Vu que j'ai du temps, je me suis trouvé un ptit boulot. Et je vais peut-être m'envoler pour l'angleterre, pour aller voir un groupe de rock japonais que j'adore.
