Have been living in NE Ohio the last 14 or so years, love the change of seasons, and winters first fresh snowfall, after that they can take it back up north ;-) Love music, poetry, guitar and the people who play them( Bonnie Raitt is hot, very broad smile) Have had a few poems published, working on expanding my writing to other genre. Love speding time with my kids, and grand-daughters. My son is one very cool dude, and time spent with him is such a joy, drunk or not lol. Remembering our fallen heros on this Memorial Day brings a strong vigor of passion in each of us, reminding us, that even in the smallest ways we are all soldiers marching, defending freedoms great and small, even if they are only in our own personal ways. Whether we're standing up for what we believe, or what we feel, it is important we never forget that freedom starts within and should never be compromised, or surrendered to intimidation. If we are empassioned, then let that passion grow. If we are enlightened, then let that enlightenment grow. If we stand up for justice, then let that position become stronger. For all those who stood up for personal, patriotic, domestic and foreign freedoms, may we honor them and give homage.
Some heros are those we least recognize; Some heros are the children who have big shoes to fill. For our children are our future.
