   About Ontologist
Ontologist

When viewed in the most abstract sense, music is simply the juxaposition of two events: something, and something else.

Music is essentially a series of moments of tension and relaxation.

Music is inherently indescribable. If it were able to be successfully capured in words, what would be the point of music?

Music is related to language, however, in both obvious and subtle ways.

Understand and believe; the collaboration of heart and mind.
"Rigor alone is paralytic death, Imagination alone is insanity." - Gregory Bateson

All music (indeed, art) was contemporary during its time.

"Joy is perception" - Agnes Martin

okay dude. i'm your friend. AND, I did my homework:

can·zo·ne/canzona
[kan-zoh-nee; It. kahn-tsaw-ne]

1. a variety of lyric poetry in the Italian style, of Provençal origin, that closely resembles the madrigal.

2. a poem in which each word that appears at the end of a line of the first stanza appears again at the end of one of the lines in each of the following stanzas.
