The building our bar Hive was in was sold in November and now we've had to let Canal go too.
The brewery that owns Canal weren't going to be spending extra ££ to sort out heating + other building work that needs to be done and there are quarterly bills such as PRS due at this time of year that make places like us contemplate whether staying in our venues is a good idea.
As ever we'll be on the look out for somewhere fresh to reappear at sooner or later- hopefully somewhere cosier but big enough for some sweet gigs as we aren't giving up on Wolvo quite yet.
We'll be contemplating exactly what to do next so any ideas or input will be welcome. It'd be nice to put a wider variety of things on next time round and building any sort of scene around the live music would be ace... for which nodding people should have a look at signing up with the nice local girls and boys here.
