"As promised, sometime ago, here is the first of many, I hope – Band Reviews
I was always told if you’re going to review something, go with what you know, so since I know this band first hand, here is my review of Neon Façade.
As well as being one of the premier bands in the Las Vegas music community ( I never liked the word, “scene), Neon Façade is gaining a tremendous following in a way very few bands I’ve seen or heard lately. They compose, play, and live with the one thing you absolutely need in life to succeed at anything, but especially in the music industry – Passion. It’s their Passion for their life and music that seems to set them apart from anyone else. It’s also that same Passion that seems to drive them to create music far beyond their young years. They create and play as if possessed by some great musicians of the past. By their own admission, they claim their music is a result of a “higher power,” and when you see and hear them, it almost seems as if it is.
Their live shows are both intense and very entertaining. Their music is their own, their lives are their own, and you can see by their very actions on stage, they are in complete control from beginning to end.
The Lead Singer/ Composer, Franz, I predict is a future musical genius. Trust me, he is. The General, drummer of the band, seems to be all alone on stage when he plays. You can see it in his eyes that he is feeling the music around him and reacting to it instead of just playing along. Luigi and Vincent aren’t just back-up musicians, they play with the same intensity which adds greatly to the professionalism you hear and feel from the stage. They are the complete package. You don’t see that in too many bands today.
I predict greatness for this band. If you’ve never heard of them, then you’re out of the loop, and deserve to be listening to whatever it is you’re listening to. When you finally wake up and give them a listen, you’ll understand why so many people are so excited and you will bear witness to the future of music.
Their success is inevitable, their legacy in the Music Industry has yet to be determined!"......................................................................................................................................................
These four individuals are a mystery in their own eras. Some say it was fate, others have thought that such a unity was pre-ordained. Time is at a standstill of unknown future events. Yet these four have known all along. These are tough times, but you can rest assured these unlikely four have a story to tell that will make you question the very nature of "Tough".
We will first start on the origins of each miraculous being...
Franz Voltaire
Our first story starts with an out-worldly man named Franz. There was a time of peace and prosperity and the world was happy, until explorers found a capsule buried dead center within a glacier off the Swedish Alps. The baffled minds of the underdeveloped watched in astonishment when they opened it. Shocked at what they have witnessed, three of the twelve explorers fled in fear of their lives. Two of the remaining nine never made it back from the Alps upon recovery of the capsule. The last seven explorers presented the being to a team of research scientists dedicated to the anatomy and origins of this out-worldly man. Of all the evidence considered, the "male" being was traced back to an unknown planet that appears in the Neptunian orbit belt every 20,000 years. The most shocking thing and unexplainable object they found was a pair of Ray-Ban glasses he had taken with him from earth. Speculation says that Franz was the reason that blues became. And for his contributions he was awarded a pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses for influencing rock & roll. His attempt to travel back to his planet failed and thus initiated the plan to cryogenically freeze his body for the next 20,000 years to a time where technology reigns. It was also proven that Franz has witnessed the Triassic period wearing these Ray-Bans, concluding his ability of time travel. One of the explorers that found the time capsule, was a man named Jeff of better known as the “General”. Soon after, Franz had shed light on the General on how to go about "time traveling".
The General
The General has a history in the fires of war. His eye's have recorded death beyond unimaginable scales. He became cold-hearted and bitter about the actions of humans and decided to give as good as they threaten. Thus, he played his part in many operations in the history of mankind. Operations such as: the battle of Termopylae (480 BC), battle of Issus (333 BC), battle of Cannae (216 BC), to Operations in the World Wars: Brusilov Offensive WWI (1916), Operation Barbarossa WWII (1941), the Allied Invasion of Sicily, (1943) and invasion of Normandy (1944). As a matter of fact, the list of operations he did NOT participate in would be a much shorter list. Over time, he developed an ability. He discovered this when he climbed the Troll Wall cliff in Norway and screamed blasphemous hatred to ALL that allowed blood on the hands of innocence. Oh yes... he roared that evening.... The conclusion of this event resulted in climate anomalies and what people call global warming. The General can now dictate the weather based on how he chooses to feel at the moment. The General claims the world will have a new mask in the coming years, and it will be everybody's honor to witness such significant change from happiness to sadness. During his current affairs in Egypt, Franz happened to drop by and tell the General that he had a plan for the world. The General and Franz would then become the unlikely duo to showcase a talent that is beyond the comprehension of mankind. Of course this took place in Ancient Egypt (5000 BC). Soon after, the General adopted the drum set and applied his amazing talent to them. “Every time he hits his kick drum there is an audibly apparent thunderous roar on the western side of the globe and on the opposite side, a baby dies! It’s almost as if he reclaims Normandy.” states Franz. So thus they both traveled to 1945 and talk to a Dr. Hugh Le Caine, so Franz can adopt his personal instrument, the Synthesizer. Short after, the General found word of a man that was around 32,000 years old. His name is Vincent.
Vincent Valencia
Vincent’s only human appearance was in the 1900's, His whereabouts for some 31,900 years prior remain unknown. Some say he was born in a colony in Europe and was an acclaimed musician. His purpose in 1900’s was to see about the Wright brothers 1900 Glider. He wanted to witness man's pilgrimage to the skies. Franz and General were compelled to find this specific entity for his remarkable ability to remain existentially age-less. They were waiting in the fields that were said to link our world with that of asgard's in October 3, 1900 when midnight struck (because according to legend, the age-less man appears to those worthy of notice to guide them to the other side). They were stricken with fear when a silhouette in the distance appeared. They approached him and they talked about the future that is in need. Vincent with all his wisdom said “ I have much to pay for, but if you wait for me until the time is needed, I will be there with an instrument of my choosing.” Reaching an accord, Franz and the General left, and in a flash of light Vincent witnessed them depart from this time, gave his salute to the general and said "farewell my friends. Our spirits will meet at another time, but not this time". They now seek a fourth member in the process of waiting for Vincent to pay for his transgressions. It’s now 1983. Franz and General were on two motorcycles: a Boss Triumph and a Moto Guzzi Ambassador on Targhee Pass when they noticed a hitchhiker. He was carrying a half bottle of Tequila and a broken “Construction Time Again” album by Depeche Mode. That’s when they met Luigi.
Luigi (Lucian) Vega
"He" was known as Luigi Lucien Vega, born of the mixture of Assailant and Goddess. According to documents, Luigi was mentioned as the "devourer of snakes" righteously titled for his accomplishment of biting one of the snakes off Medusa's Head. It was also fabled that he recovered the corpse of Goliath to whereabouts unknown, but that's just hearsay. He is a frightful being and his aura delivers ambience of the dark soul. "Survival" was the name of the game, and for Luigi, it was a piece of cake. He became a renegade in disobedience of the law because he was left haunted by human cruelty. "Humans have stripped me of my filial attachments to the gods and... i hate them for it!" luigi screams. And so he picked up and learned to play the lute to mourn in the depths of his melancholy with melodramatic chords. The sorrow of his ambience poured out to the lands. After a while, the gods felt he deserved to be in a different time. So Luigi was caught in a creative orb that paved his existence in the far future. Luigi, now in a foreign land quickly adapted to a lifestyle in discretion, an 80's lifestyle. That’s when Luigi’s calling manifested in front of his eyes! He knew great things were in the works and he had to be part of it. Franz and the General agreed and Luigi came aboard.
They finally traveled to their last destination, the years of the 2000’s. Year: 2008. Location: Las Vegas, NV. The 3 members were having lunch at the local Roberto’s when a man approached. It was Vincent! He still hadn’t aged and he brought along side him a bass. The band was completely formed and forged a bond that cannot be broken. Of all the time travels and adventures that these 4 individuals have endured, music was the most influential part of their lives. To this day, they are giving their gifts of performance and musical genius to the masses in their time of need. With four members now in the group, they needed a band name. They settled for Neon Façade. Façade is a representation of the impenetrability of modern times. Neon at first glance suggests the flashiness of Las Vegas, but the group implies a negative aspect to the term. Neon coupled with Façade is meant to be a far more intricate perplexity which the group has unanimously vowed not to unveil. What you hear and see is a "Neon Façade!" a part of history…

about The Rock Room : This room has it’s own entrance, you can see it from the parking lot. Drinks are cheaper in this room, buy drinks here! Sushi served all night for all you Sushi lovers Pro sound , stage and lighting Dj’s will be spinning between band sets Overall the Rock Room caters to music lovers so please have an open mind and have a blast!
