Sounds Like
Psyche-Vaudville Weeja-Funk with a splash of Blues.
Neon Flea Circus are a laid-back in-your-face funk band with their roots in the blues and their heads in the psychedelic clouds. The only serious thing about their music, is the music itself. Everything after that can be taken with a pinch of salt, a bite of lemon and a shot of tequila (if that’s what gets you going….)
Few, if any of their songs fit into the simple three minute wonder pop-song structure that typifies so many modern commercial releases. Instead, you will find a layered, multi-faceted band turning their hands at a number of styles and genres with a maturity and sensibility that quite contradicts their personalities!
May 2007 saw the release of their first EP : “Go for the Juggler” in Crane Lane Theatre
