What's NEON?
Performing in the Purple Haze tent of Fuji Rock '03, Style Blow Heads front-men Masahiro Tagami 【MC,guitar】 and Kazuhiko Ito 【Programming,guitar】were inspired to form a two-man unit. During the Minami Wheel music festival, they took on the name, Neon, to be recognized separately from the main band.
Mixing together elements of techno and rock music, the two man unit created "tech rock"- a style that stretches beyond the boundaries of one particular genre into a free form of musical expression. The two members manipulate the most minute elements of sound to construct an alternate musical world that is, at times aggressive, and at times mellow. The result is a unique, crowd-pleasing live experience, created in real time, that keeps everyone dancing.
Neon is supported by such top artists as: Alex Paterson (The Orb), Thomas Fehlmann (The Ord/Kompact), Richard Fearless (Death In Vegas), etc. Though Neon was formed quite recently, they have enjoyed a fast ride to success. Take the time absorb the sights and the sounds of this musical experience and see for yourself!
