HEADSHOTS, FAMILY PORTRAITS, LIFES MOMENTS....
Neopolitan is NOT a music group..
We are choreographers, producers, directors, dancers, entertainers, and many more...........
The raw street flavor of Dahrio Wonder Hutton and the impeccable technique of Robert D. Lupo create the eclectic style of dance that Neopolitan brings to the dance world. These dancers and choreographers are mulit-flavored, layered, and complex, just like the flavor that Neopolitan represents. Hutton and Lupo meld Hip-Hop, Jazz, Modern, Ballet and African dance in a way that no other has done before. Neopolitan epitomizes the result of that unique and powerful metamorphosis: innovative choreography and dynamic dancing.
The Born and bred bay area native dancers met in 1999 while dancing for a well-respected dance company, Oakland's own New Style Motherlode, directed by Corey Action Harrison and Teela Shine Ross. In 2002, they decided to experiment with their own choreography and found that creative sparks flew. They were looking for a way to raise the bar in the Bay Area dance world and , in each other, found the quality and passion for dance each had been looking for. In a word, like a puzzle, they fit. Thus, Neopolitan was born.
Both Hutton and Lupo started dancing professionally at an early age, Robert at 14, and Dahrio at 17. Besides the requisite industrial gigs that any dancer worth his salt has under his belt, these two can add world tours with major recording artists, living abroad, and world movie premieres to their resume. Dahrio toured and performed in 2003 with Britney Spears, as well as the Ying Yang twins, and the late Celia Cruz. He has been blessed to work with some of the industries top choreographers such as Jamie King, Brian Friedman, Chonique and Lissette, Travis Payne and more!!!! Dahrio has also performed at the American Music Awards and the Latin Grammy's, while Robert danced in Korea with a major recording star and kicked off the world premiere of "Studio 54" in New York with Filipina sensation Jocelyn Enriquez. Together they have garnered rave reviews at the 2004 San Fransisco Hip Hop Dancefest, and their work has been featured at the prestigious Choreographer's Carnival in Los Angeles and San Francisco. Their work has been nominated for a 2006 Bay Area Issy Award for Best Choreography and Best Dance Performance, and their premiere production "So Delicious" in October 2005 was praised by bay area audiences and critics.
In a time when literal choreography in unison is the norm and expected in Hip Hop, Neopolitan will hit their audience with ever-new gestures and vocabulary that give full expression to the music. Choreographers, dancers, directors, producers, stylist and amazing entertainers, Neopolitan has their eyes set on taking the dance world by storm and working with the top artist in the entertainment industry.

Vivo (Meaning "Alive") is the launch of an event that will be held once a month here in the Bay Area. This event was designed to help dancers support dancers, by creating an atmosphere for the Bay Area Dance Community to have a night dedicated to them and their artform. An event for Crews and Companies alike to be amongst friends, have fun, enjoy performances and lets loose on the dance floor. Also giving Bay Area Choreographers a chance to showcase their creativity with no pressure to "Wow" the audience. Allowing them to feel free to just express themselves. The lower level main floor will host performances and a club type atmosphere while the upstairs "Breaks Room" will host a battle/session type atmosphere. This event is basically set up to be a dancers Euphoria. All of the Bay Areas top talent is invited as well as beginning and "wanna-be" dancers.
"Vivo is an event I feel the Bay needs. It's something I've always wished someone would start. So instead of waiting, I started it myself. Why not? My vision is a club packed with dancers. All styles. Commercial. Underground. All together celebrating dance. Music blasting. Madness." -Antoine "FROST" Troupe
