Music, theatre, dance, visual art, etc. Right now musically, I mainly sing/perform soul/R&B type stuff, but I'm trying to branch out into other musical styles. I prefer lounges over clubs and fashion and good food.
Music
R&B, Soul/Neo Soul, House, Classical, 70's Rock (because thise dudes had soul), Salsa/Merengue. I'm down for whatever, as long as it a) makes me want to get up and dance or b)touches my heart
Television
I don't watch much TV anymore, but when I did, I was a huge fan of 6 Feet Under.
Books
I'm a big fan of plays, and the two that stick out in my mind at the moment are "The Speed of Darkness", by Steven Tesich, and "Buried Child" by Sam Sheppard.
Heroes
Stevie wonder, because he did not let his disability stop him from making great music; Martin Luther King, because devoted his life to better humanity; and my Mom, because she raised 6 wonderful children by herself, and still continues today to be an inspiration to me.
I love soul and R&B, but I'm really down for whatever. For me, there's no greater experience then when people come together to create. Drop me a line if you want to make some music.
