Nephilim Rising is a thrash metal band with old school death metal influences from Sussex, New Brunswick, formed in 2007. After minor member changes and an entire set change, Nephilim Rising has officially been REFORMED.
"Keeping it old school" is the band's motto as they take influence from thrash metal bands such as Kreator, Sodom, Destruction, Sepultura and Slayer, while also showing their love for death metal with influences from bands such as Morbid Angel, Possessed, and Malevolent Creation. Nephilim Rising strives for originality with this concept of being "in between" thrash metal and today's death metal pioneers.
Nephilim Rising has been privileged to play along side with great bands such as 3 Mile Scream, We, The Undersigned, [thedaisy]anthesis, and Rusted Dawn.
